    Post a zoomed in scan of the black box with Mays' name in it.

    If the black box is crisp, and doesn't bleed into the white area, it's probably authentic.

  • Look at the copyright date on the card to see if it's for real.

    Looks authentic to me. However, I have one like it that is in better condition, and it was graded only PSA 1.

    Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

    it looks real from the photo shown. what is suppose to be solid is solid and what is suppose to be dots is dots. check the card stock and make sure you can't shine a flashlight thru the card

    I just got the card today. The orange, willie's shirt, the green house all seem to be comprised of dots, while the black box with his name seems to be solid.
