St. Augustine trip

I'm heading down next month to take my family for a week and given that this is the oldest city in the U.S. there is surely alot of treasure to be found. Besides beach combing do any of you have any experience hunting in this area and do you have any tips? I always hope for a nice tropical storm (no hurricanes please) when I'm down in florida so I can search the beachs in the aftermath but they never happen when I'm down.

I can't give you any leads , but be sure to check with local authorities on the laws pertaining to MD'ing there. Some places require a permit to hunt.

Have a safe trip and good luck!

Saint Auggie is fun, if a bit touristy. The Castillo is a must-see.

Not too many detecting opportunities within the city itself- as you can imagine, the rules are tight in such a historic area- but you still oughtta be able to hunt beaches and such.
