New Guy Observations & A Question
First of all, let me say the many, MANY, threads Ive read over the last month or so have been so informative and just downright funny. The generosity and helpfulness to each other is simply commendable. I guess Ill start putting my 2 cents worth in whenever I can in the future.
Now for a quick question, I noticed the fine artwork by Knuckles on some old threads (amazing!) and more recently the excellent photoshop work done for some Heritage wanna-be cards. Which brings up the Broder cards, that were recently discussed as well. I know PSA will slab those cards by Knuckles because they are only authenticating the auto, but is there any chance they would authenticate a Broder card or any other custom card?
Doubt it, but was curious.

As you pointed out, authenticating a signature is a different matter.
Hopefully someone else will come along and give you a more definitive answer.
In the interim, I just wanted to welcome you to the boards and put this thread back on the front page for you. By the way, how long have you been collecting and what are your primary interests?
Snorto~
Now, for the most part, its mostly vintage football and just enough vintage baseball to keep me honest. Currently, my attention is focused on Ernie Banks, but I am working on getting all of those mid 80's RC's I remember so well in 9 or better.
Thanks for the welcome.
Snorto is correct in that any unlicensed card will not be graded. I sent two Emmitt Smith cards in once that were both returned. I thought because the insignia was on his helmet and he was pictured in his official nfl gear that the card would be graded due to that very fact. I always understood that if a card company showed nfl team logos they had to have a license but thats not the case.
