And it was an Adams. I really hope these pop up more often than the Sackies and SBAs did.

    Nice find Steve! I had a chance to do some md'ing earlier this week while I was camping in Bar Harbor. I got a sweet pure silver tone and thought "This is it, I've finally found something worthy of a post on the board!!" Yeah, it was a clad quarter and 6 pennies. But as everyone always says, it's just a matter of time. I wish I'd hurry up and find silver though cuz I'm not getting any younger!! image

    Ah Jerry? I've chronologically passed 30 by better than two decades. So maybe the silver and gold will be mine by 60!
    (note the choice of the word chronologically lol)

    Those would make a nice target for a dug set - i.e. trying to dig one of each president.... image

    A dug state quarter set is another one that I would probably be working on myself if I was living in the US.. would provide some excitement to finding modern coins.. image
