First, some comments on the 4 baseball cards. Only one - the '57 Williams - was as expected (super nice 7). I expected the King to be a 6, it gets a 7. The Ryan is a headscratcher.......thought it was an 8 and I usually don't miss something that knocks it down to a 6. The Clemente WILL go back in.........it was a 9 candidate and is probably worth resubmitting another time or two.

Ok, on to the football: for the most part, pretty fair grades. Some of the 6's are probably due to centering (I requested NQ's), but there are a few headscratchers........the biggest being line 23, O'Donahue. I almost did not submit that card because of some light PD on the front and it gets an 8. I thought the Waterfield had the best shot at being an 8, but I'm not complaining. The Ronzani is probably a 6 only due to T/B centering....very sharp card otherwise. Biggest ? is the Rechichar....can't imagine the estate that these came out of worked on Bert with an exacto knife.

Overall, not bad I suppose. I'm pretty disappointed in the Clemente and Ryan, but O'Donahue makes up for some of that and the rest are ok. There was only one 5 on the football and given the toughness of the set that's pretty good.
