2000 CE Supreme Update Foil PSA?

How were the Update Foil cards #/2000 PSA graded cards distributed? Redemtions, boxes or what? I know that the non-foil/un-numbered update cards were purchased in set form only but I've never found out about the foil/2000 cards. I know some of you have a registry goin' with these cards.
