I'm thinking bidder 5 is a shill....2-3 years on Ebay with a 75% feedback rating. Only one bid going and it happens to be on that card, bidding 9 times...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Bidder 5 appears to be a shill to me because the bid increments are $5 now, so when he bid $398 and saw that the bid went to only $400 and not $403, he knew bidder 4 was at his max, and stopped.
People's exhibit #4,168,749 in support of snipe/last-minute bidding. I'm thinking the high bidder put in one of those ridiculous bids thinking nobody would bid that high. Expensive lesson to learn if that's the case.
User for 2-3 years, FB 1-9, only bids on this seller's auctions....if I were the winner, I'd be PO'd for sure. And like someone said, this is a classic example of why sniping is the only way to go.
Edit: I'm also wondering why anyone would even put in a bid that high to begin with.
