An all-time low for an auction house

So I get this catalog from vintage authentics every few months. A lot of game worn stuff, not my passion but they do have a few lesser graded cards.

There was a copy of their catalog in my mailbox today. I paged through it and not much in the graded cards. I see some CSA graded cards and wondered what's the deal on that. THEN....to what to my wondering eyes should appear but this:

GEM MINT HOFERS +17.5% juice

How could any auction house that wants crediblity do that. I no longer worry about Mastro smoothing out cards....

Strange choice of grading companies. Consigner could have picked a better name although looking at the cards, these do look nicely centered unlike most Gems I have seen. I guess the main worry would be if they were trimmed. Nice looking cards though, don't you think?

That said, I would touch anything from an auction house that took Gem consignments. image
