Trade My 93 Cobra Mustang Show Car for Carson City Gold

I've decided to let my 93 Cobra Mustang head on down the road to a new home. This is a "trailer queen" show car. It has never been on a race track in its life and has not been driven on public roads since 2002. The car had less than 8000 miles when I made the modifications to it in 2003. It is a real 93 Cobra Mustang and is #3885 of 4993 built. The 93 is the first and only year for the Fox Bodied Cobra's. The car competed on the International Show Car Association circuit in 2004 and took "Best of Show" in the Competition Category at 8 shows across the country including the grand finale in Indianappolis that season.
A few of the modifications include:
Custom Painted Fiberglass Hood
UPR Chromoly Tubular Coil/Over Front Suspension
Steeda "Pro Street" Style 4 Point Cage Powdered Coated Gray
G Force 5 point Racing Harnesses
Drilled/Slotted Front Rotors - Slotted Rear Rotors
BBK Chrome Full Lenght Headers
Polished Aluminum Ford Racing Driveshaft
Cobra R's with Mickey T Street Slicks on back
Custom Fabricated Spring Loaded Wheelie Bars
Zex Nitrous with Purge
The list goes on & on, but you get the idea.
I have all the stock pieces that came off the car that can also be negotiated.

The car needs to bring in the $22,000 range and I'm open to interesting trades for Carson City Gold with preference given for coins I don't already have in my set. Please PM with your direct email address if you have questions or want larger pictures.

Thanks, CCG

  • I can't help you with the CC gold, but you might consider consigning your car to Barrett-Jackson.

  • Thanks for the idea.
I thought this might bring out some interesting offers. Maybe not.
How about a 74CC Dime? That's it, you can buy this car for a dime.image
  • I live in Fresno, which is on the way to the Southern entrance to Yosemite along Route 41. For Japanese tourists the itinerary was usually Disneyland, Yosemite, then San Francisco; or the reverse. On Blackstone(41) in Fresno, before the freeway, a body shop had an immaculate 1956 Cadillac Limousine in the window. One day a tour bus stops and a Japanese man alights, comes in the shop and asks, "How much?" for the Cadillac in the window.

Having had this conversation before, the body shop owner says , "$25,000," a ridiculous figure at the time, rather than argue about something not being for sale. The gentleman whipped out his checkbook and wrote him a check for $25,000. It was picked up two days later and shipped to Tokyo. Early 70's, if I recall right. About the same time I bought a brand new Toyota Celica out-the-door for $3350.

    A 74CC dime, eh? image
  • My 93 Cobra is still for sale or trade. Any interesting trade offers?

All those mods and you never beat on it? Nitrous and slicks, aren't you curious? Why did you modify it then?

The car would be worth more if it were bone stock.

I saw one recently with 4,500 miles, totally stock, sticker still in the window, 30k sold!

Proud owner of two, one bone stock 90 GT, and a radically modified 89 LX. Love that Fox style!

If I come across a 74CC dime, I will gladly take the car off your hands.image
