Has there ever been an "OVERSIZED" monthly special

I have a small number of oversized cards and would like to trim some dollars off the current $15.00 price tag --- if there has been a monthly oversized special in the past I would wait until it pops up again.

What do you mean by oversized? There is currently a tallboy special, though I forget the exact dimensions that it can hold.

I can't remember an oversized special!! They have only been grading them for half a year or so if I remember right. $15 is pretty steep in my book!

I agree 15.00 is up there --- I just want the cards to be slabbed and added to the registry so I am hoping that a special comes out soon

When I was in college, we'd sometimes go for the "oversize special."

Normally right around bar time, but sometimes a bit earlier if it we were in a slump.

If oversized looks like the scan, the answer to the question is yes. They ran a special awhile back and I had a number of the oversized 86 Topps graded. If my memory is correct the cost was $13 each.

yes they did, and I think $13/per was the price. it was back in dec or jan.

Oversized cards currently need to be sent in on the superexpress $55 level or higher, which is why there are not many topps supers from the eighties graded. If they had another $13 special for supersized, I would take advantage of it.

The max. size for a tall boy is 3.5 x 5.5, everything over that in supersized.

it might have been $20 or $25 not $13. it was a half a year ago.

Sorry, no Carters. I went back and found the invoice from when I had them graded. It was a September/October special for $13 each. What I have left are the Ripken I scanned, another one that is a PSA 5, Two PSA 5 Ryans and a PSA 6 Rose. I didnt' send in anymore because I thought the grades I got were brutal. All the cards were right out of a case I opened and I pulled out what I thought were great looking cards.

I may not understand, are the 86 Topps Super cards not considered oversized? Or is oversized different than supersized?? I feel like I'm at the McDonald's drive up window......

Hi- I called a customer service rep and asked about the tall boy/oversized bulk service that psa has. The gal told me that this service which is $8/25 cards minimum would work for a group of '71 topps football posters I have. These posters are about 4 and a half by 6 inches tall or so!! Maybe some others want to get in on this service.. If you have questions give psa a call like I did and ask them for clarification on sizes they will take for this service. Hope this helps someone out!
