Perez-Steele Info. Needed

A woman I used to work with is looking for some info. on Perez-Steeles. Her father recently passed away, and he apparently had a very large collection of Perez-Steeles, many autographed. I'm a card guy, so I know next to nothing about Perez-Steeles. From what she's told me, the ones he collected are the following:

1980-2001 Hall of Fame Postcards
1985-95 Great Moments Postcards
1989 Celebrations
1990-92 Masterworks postcards

Because she doesn't have the Perez-Steeles onhand, she doesn't know much of the important stuff like players, condition, etc. Basically I'm just fishing for info. with this post. Any help would be much appreciated.

"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

I'd check eBay for completed auctions.

Basic info - the more common HOF'ers on these (Brooks Robinson, Lou Brock, George Kell types) go roughly $15-$20 usually when slabbed, so they're almost not worth the price of slabbing. For the main postcard set, some of the more recent HOF'ers like Brett and Lasorda (and esp. Puckett) end up going more expensive, since they haven't been doing shows for decades and signing lots of these.

Joe D., Ted Williams, Mick, can be $200+ for a signed PSA / DNA signed Perez Steele.

Personally I love the Great Moments cards because of their style (made like the T-3's), and signed ones can be gorgeous with a nice signature across the artwork.

Hope that helps with a little bit of info.
