LM...are you up for a trek to Old Mill Island, Cypress Mill?

Built in the 1870's and abandoned in the 1890's...I was there in the 70's, before I ever started MD'ing..the island is covered with animal bones, and old English brick...no telling what was left behind...We will have to walk across the marsh at low tide, and hunt until just before the tide starts coming in again...

    Southeast Georgia, on the coast...that is about 1300 yds of marsh...I have been there in my younger days....mucky, but do-able.

    Im up for it. Im in SE South Carolina. Once we get there due to tides, how long would we have? Or could it be a day thing, go over on low tide, play all day, head back during low tide?

    I would like to plan to go there in a morning low tide, and stay most of the day...I have never been on that island on a high tide, obviously it is above the water line, but to be trapped there and NOT be able to get off in case of an accident, (rattlesnake bite?) might be ugly...

    BTW...I lived in Charleston for 13 years.....where are you?
