Hunter Pence should at least be a reserve.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

One thing that sticks out for me is Matt Holiday being a reserve? No way Bonds should be in front of him.

  • While no Bonds fan, it's tough to argue against his numbers:

.304 BA, ridiculous .516 OBP, 16 HR are as good if not better than Holliday's.

  • Def. Orlando Cabrera. superb year for the Angels a key ingredient to their success this season. Still cant figure out why the Blow Sox didnt keep this guy after he helped them during the World Series year...instead they go to Edgar Diarreah, then Alex Gonzolez (who was superb for them) then Julo mendoza line....

Chris Young (Padres) and Sammy Sosa! image

    Steve
  • Also agree with Sosa instead of Young...and how cool would it have been to have Sosa, Bonds, and Griffey all at the all star game? Hunter Pence? Nah, he's hardly proven himself, and wasn't even on the ballot. Odd that LaRussa chose so many closers, and how does he justify taking the Rockies' closer when he's lost his closing job?

Youkilis for reserve 1b. Thought he might get the nod from the players.

Manny was voted in and really should not be there.

    O. Cabrerra was a huge snub.
