Feedback appreciated: 200 years ago this coin was minted...

And 200 years later it shows up on my doorstep.

To me the coin looks rather dull, lifeless, without caracter. NCS should be able to give it back some of it's life. If it was my coin that is what I would do.

The coin would look like crap after they were done.

Gee, thanks, I had no idea.

This is definitely not the time for conservation.
Edited to add. This would be exactly like if you gave an NFL linebacker $300 to hit you in the face a couple of times as hard as he could; it's just a really bad choice.
The before and after NCS shots are interesting. Looking at the after shots the Morgan looks better, the bust half dime doesn't look natural, the Ike looks better, the seated quarter looks destroyed and the spots removed from the gold is good.

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Why on earth would you want to work over that neat, original CBH? Isn't the desirability in a "crusty busty?"
I know what I like and it isn't always what the general public goes for. Nice bust half as is!

I don't think NCS would touch it.
You know what my thoughts would be about even bringing up the subject of NCS with a coin like this.
It looks like it has seen a little wipe somewhere along the line, but they left a lot of packed dirt on and in this one. This grade of 1807 is a very collectible coin. The first thing my eye goes to when I see a coin like this is the strike, is it all there or not, then the surfaces including any luster, then I look for the wear, is it normal circulation wear?
Nice dead on pic by the way.
