I always thought it would be cool to assemble a collection of autographs of famous coin designers...I once missed a Hermon Macneil (by a dollar!) on eBay, but, aside from the Felix Schlag Jefferson certificates and Goodacre/Bicentennial signed slabs, I've never even seen any. I just found this one on eBay:

But it's a bit out of my price range. Does anyone know anything about price on designer's autographs? Also, how do you establish authenticity?
