1960 Lincoln small over large date...Does this fall in the same category??

Liberty, flag and all the stars are all small over large features. Except for the date.

    No.

The 1960 Lincoln small/large date is actually a doubled die. It was caused when one working die was first hubbed with a large date die, then hubbed again with a small date die, or vice versa.

Your coin simply looks like the die is in a later die state, and what you are seeing is die deterioration doubling. It actually looks similar to 'Longacre' doubling commonly found on Indian cents.
