<< <i>It has to be a bunch of shills. There are buy-it-nows for $3000 or less on eBay. >>
i havew a feeling the bid is up that high because the bidders live in a country where the phone is not available. this auction ships worldwide. the lower auctions only ship to the US. i could be wrong but i think i`m right.

<< <i>I am not the best Modernist... the grade is likely 67 possibly 68. As for the value, it is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. I can only say this if it is over $3000... think long and hard about what $3000 buys and this coin would not be on my list. Inthe matter of taste, there is no dispute
the auction i posted is at $19,100 now

<< <i>Okay... what is the grade of the quarter?
66, thought it was at least 67 if not a 68 so i sent it in.
<< <i>i gotta say when it went up to $19,000(right after my OP) i began to doubt this is real. i`m sure we`ll never know. >>
Now it's at $175K. Me thinks it no be real.
And a 67 on the 96.

<< <i>The seller had better hope he gets everything reversed before the $1.5million final fee hits his credit card lol. >>
Yah, but he can get the charge reversed if the high bidder doesn't pay.
