I just came across this auction. The 2 is at an odd angle and the base of the 2 looks funny. Could this be a 1937 carved to look like a 1932?

I agree with you both - it does look odd, but that is normal/legit

Looks a lot like the one I have in my Whitman, which is genuine. The "S" mintmark looks very much mine as well, with the sunken look to it.
