Is this token Cuban?

Any help on this token would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill.

I believe it's "somebody and brothers".

Obverse should be "good for 10c in 'effects'".

I don't know anything so would guess Mexican.
    Tempus fugit.

"guerra y" is ""war and", but I've got no clue on "toribio" or what "hno." is an abbreviation for.

Thanks DCH, I have Rulau but never thought this would be from Texas. This token is of white metal and not of brass. The Tx- SD2 is of CN and has a 5 pointed star. Oh well, I'll probably just list it on the Bay and let someone else figure it out. Thanks again for your help.
