I've considered it. I even made Cardinal an offer for his base collection to use as a springboard. And I've bid aggressively [but unsuccessfully] on a type coin here or there that might have been the start of a set. But I have to admit that I prefer the challenge of creating finest sets and as long as the Pogue Collection is out there it's not possible to do.

I think a truely eye appealing set (whether it's technically finest or not) would be extremely difficult to complete, even with funding not being an issue. It seems to me that Bust Dollars with an honest, good look to them are one of the rarest coins out there.

Only reason I bring it up is I want to see the pics of the ones you find

It's an incredible collection but even it has some decidedly unattractive coins included. IMO of course.
