Need old foreign coin info!

perkdogperkdog Posts: 29,522 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have about 50 older world coins that I have ZERO clue about, I will do my best to describe a few that are very old, any info would help. If anything sounds like it might be worth anything I would email a scan if anyone is interested in buying.

1876 DOS Centavos Republic Peruana
1885 Victoria D:G Britte RG:FD
1877 20 centesimos Republic Oriental Del Uruguay
1870 5 centimes Grand Duche DE Luxembourg

(Paper Money)- 10000 Reichsbanknote Berlin Jen 19. 1922
Behntaulend Mark

Any info would help, also is there a book I can buy to look up these and more?

your banknote is german weimar republic issue. because of the german font, (and that odd letter we don't use in english anymore), behntaulend is actually zehntausend. zehn = ten, tausend = thousand...ten thousand marks. the front features a young man's portrait as painted by albrecht dürer, and the german eagle should be on the back. value-wise, you're looking at anywhere between $2 to $8 depending on condition.

Thank You very much for the replies guys! I have a stack of the paper money about 40 of them, too bad but I figured they were not worth much. Thanks again.
