Wonder if this version of the ASE Unc will be as successful as the 2006-W??

Of course many PCGS lovers may switch to NGC for hopes of an MS70.

First One of these I've seen on eBay

How much does he have to sell that for before he break even?

Around $50 unless the coin was submitted as part of a bulk submission...

Oh jeez, it's one of those TURE N/R AUCTIONS, I've heard that those can be rough!

If this auction is a sample of things to come....I'll stick with my 2006-W's!!!!!!!!!!!

    Let's see.....

    Mint cost $21.95 + $14 PCGS Modern fee + $10 First Strike Designation + $x shipping both ways to/from PCGS - Sold $$58.24 = image

  • And that is the best grade you can get. I think the seller made a mistake listing it only one day. That's almost as bad as the FDI GW dollars.

When factor in Ebay's listing fee and final fee, the seller actually loses money on the coin
  • Looks like this one will not fair well for flippers. Here someone has a BIN for $56.99 with 100 available!

Only way these will take off if the mint ends sales early. There's always that chance, but they minted 228,000 of these so far.

The same mintage "so far" as the 1885 CC morgan. LOL
Where do you find out the current mintages for these coins? The only info I can find for any new coins is 1-2 years old.
    Love the 1885-CC Morgan

Just saw on ebay a 2007 FS unc ASE. Then they have the 2007 W unc ASEs. I checked the us mint website and only the 2007 Ws are for sale.
Did they sell 2007 uncs earlier this year?

    I think 2006 mintage is around 450,000.

Still a ways to go, 2007 could be the Key to the two year series. image

The 2007 is only sold to mint authorized bullion dealers in 'green monster boxes' at a small premium over spot. The 2007-W is the burnished ASE sold to collectors by the mint.

OK for some reason I thought the mint only made 2007 Ws now. That solves the mystery. Thanks again. Don't you love naive guys like me? image
