1909S-VDB penny....CLEANEDRD ?

I recently sent a 1909 svdb in to be graded and it came back cleanedrd. What does this mean? What does this do to the value? Is it still worth something? Thanks Chris

Yep, still worth a pretty penny! I'd turn right around and send it to ANACS and they'll
put it in a slab with a grade.

    Good luck,

Only thing I can imagine is that it's cleaned and it's red, thus the "RD" at the end of the "cleaned". It was probably chemically treated to appear a natural red color.

It means it was cleaned so PCGS won't put it in a slab. It got body-bagged (BB).

You could send it to ANACs, they would slab it but probably note it was cleaned or re-colored on the holder and give it a detail grade.
