Does Anyone Have a "First Date in the Series" Type Collection?
Or how about a last date in the series type set? I've always wanted to collect the first date in the series in GEM starting with the 20th century (e.g. 1909 cent, 1913 5c, 1916 10c, etc.). Has anyone done something similar?

1916 SLQ? Ouch.
Makes for a fun way to change things around.
<< <i>I like that idea, what I have for one of my 7070s is "same dates/different designs" such as a 1909 indian/lincoln, 1883 shield/v-nick etc.

Speaking of "ouch", finding that 1913 liberty/buffalo nickel is gonna be slightly tough

true dat, but fortunately there are 3 different 1883 nickels that fit the bill in the type album

That assumes you think of it as a real, legitimate coin.
I like the idea.
