Item 15 was a 2002 SP Legendary Cuts Sid Luckman Cut Auto. I am not sure why they say its a factory misprint. I have been able to find any info that says its a misprint. There is one BGS graded Luckman. None of my card catalogs state that there were any problems with the Luckman cards before. Any suggestions on what to do. I am sure if I call PSA that wont be able to explain it but I will try tomorrow.

    Jay,

No offense, but PSA wouldn't know a real Luckman autograph if it bit them in the a*s!

    Greg,

I would have to agree. But why the Factory Misprint on a 2002 card. That should have been slabbed. I havent heard of anything funny about the 2002 cuts have you?

    Jay,

I haven't heard anything, although it doesn't surprise me one bit. The only autographed cards that PSA believes are real are the 1997 Leaf Reprint autographs which, in general, are poor examples of Luckman's autograph (primarily because he was so old when he signed and his autograph was very shaky).

    Regards,

Beckett grades them. I havent found any info in any price guide or catalog that says those cards have issues. I wonder if I will even be able to get an answer from anyone at PSA or even get a chance to speak to someone that could answer the question. I will try later today to call.

I'm so pissed off right now with PSA it ain't funny!! My submission that is currently down there will be the last one i send in this year. I am taking a long break from PSA. Maybe they will miss my money as much as i miss not getting my cards back in timely fashion.

    Carew29,

I too feel your pain - my May submission hasn't popped yet either, although it seems lots of June subs have. I feel it would be in PSA's interest to fix this little problem of theirs, as it seems many on these boards have similar complaints about turnaround times image

Don't understand why there are so many complaints about turnaround time. It's not like the cards are getting lost and as jradke posted, his sub was not a June special anyway. Maybe I'm just more patient than average, but waiting a few weeks (or a couple of months) for cards to come back from PSA doesn't seem that terrible to me. JMO.

Indeed I do, mostly early to mid-70s cards (I've already submitted two large subs under the June special), but thanks for asking.

I like the idea of everyone quit submitting the rest of this year. That should speed up my bulk orders when I send them in.

I only asked because it seemed odd that someone who posts 8 times a day would never have posted their sub results; or, if you have I've at least never seen it.

I merely offered my opinion on the turnaround time. (I never said that my orders come back faster than anyone else's--please re-read my original post.) If you disagree with my opinion, that's fine, but there's no need to act like a fool about it. Take care.

How am I being the 'forum moderator'? Most board members who post as frequently as you do share their grades. You've never done this, to the best of my knowledge, which is why I wondered if you were a PSA member.

I apologize if your question was sincere. I perceived it as being facetious, but I may have been incorrect about that. If so, my bad.

I've been a PSA member for about 5 years now, and have submitted about 15-20 subs in that time, more so lately, than usual. I just haven't felt the need or desire to post my grades, but certainly don't begrudge anyone else for doing so, or not doing so. Just sent out another June special sub of 85 cards this morning to get in under the deadline.
