Gambler’s Special from Nevada!

We have just purchased a very fresh mint-sewn Bag of 1978-D Eisenhower Dollars. Discussing what to do with it we’ve decided to give our customers a chance at this unique opportunity. Here is an item that you know just as much as any dealer on. No one has seen these coins and had the opportunity to cherry pick them or discover any hidden gems the bag may contain. This is a virgin bag that has been stored for nearly 30 years just waiting someone to discover its contents. So what’s the opportunity? PCGS values MS65 examples at $50, 66’s at $380, and the ever elusive MS67 at $15,500. Not to mention the possibilities of finding blank planchets, offcenters, doublestrucks, struck throughs, or a host of other possible errors (and many know that the year 1978 produced a lot of errors that went out to the public). This bag is in good condition and appears to have been properly stored in a moisture free environment. We’ve been very tempted to just open it ourselves. So buy it and open it, re-sell it, or just hold it for another 30 years waiting to be discovered. This is a no-return privilege item, but we do want to hear if you make a mint!

Oops, edited to add: I just looked closer at the bag and it looks like $1,000 written on it.
