I asked MF that at Long Beach a while back and he really didn't have an answer on it then. I think they are cautious about adding too many varieties to the service too fast. The SCD ones are practically trivial to attribute though. In a way, having a TPG do it doesn't make sense except for registry sets and marketing. They should do them sooner than later though, one would think.

Another problem is that the designations have been in flux, making the endeavor frustrating. The 1928-S DDO VAMs are one place to look for this. Also consider the 1892-O DOubled Ear Top-100 variety. It was long VAM-7. Well, Leroy incorporated it into VAM-5 last year when he determined the dies were the same and, thus, all VAM-5 were doubled ears. I woud bet that the majority of active VAM collectors still haven't caught that change, as fundamental as it is. In fact, that is what kept one out of my TT consignment. Some bidders wouldn't realize VAM-5 was the Top-100 coin and think it was just another generic ANACS VAM.
