Anybody heard of Alan Van Arsdale?

He has an Ebay board on coin forgery (barnowl) and is, shall we say, a little different. Has anyone had contact with him?

    He actually provides quite an excellent service to collectors by running the Coin Forgery Board on eBay. He sticks his neck out, gets in hot water with eBay and some of the members of the group but he has brought the issue of counterfeit coins to the front on ebay.

    I like the guy and what he does even if he does it in a slightly unorthodox way.
