I am headed there this weekend for a wedding. I have a list of the dealers there but just curious if anybody knows of any good shops there. Just curious....

Thanks

how about tom kaminski in wisconsin dells?

    his website

he was fortunate enough to get to sell an almost complete
half eagle collection a year or two ago.

    he also gives seminars.

may be worth the drive and you can check his current inventory?
i would call ahead of course.

There are two shops there that I know of...their names don't come to mind but they should be in the phonebook.

I agree - look in the phone book. I seem to remember a dealer out in Sun Prarie that was pretty decent.

Jim's coins in the basement of the Hilldale mall. Seems like a pretty honest guy. No real high dollar coins or even very many slabs. I see him at all the local shows. Has the usual collector supplies and such. I rate Jims as a friendly coin shop. Jim's.
Civitas Galleries is another good shop. They deal mostly in Ancient and world coins but they seem to have more US stuff lately. Josh is a forum member here and I see him at all the local shows- good guy.

Jim's Coins is a great shop.

Jim is one of the most honest and straight forward dealers in the country.

Call him before you go see him and let him know what you are looking for. He'll try to get you some material.

Jim is super knowledgable on errors and also won the PCGS grading contest for the professional division a few years ago.

    You won't go wrong there.

BTW CIVITAS is also a good shop, but mostly foreign/ancient.
