I'm New Here

Hope everyone's having a great summer so far. I used to collect a little back in the day (late 80's when eveyone else did too). Dropped out because there was just too much product coming out. I have some pretty decent Topps baseball from the 60's (66-69) that I was thinking about having graded but I heard that if it doesn't grade at least a six it's not worth the money. Can I post a link to my Photobucket site and get some feedback? There are about 30 cards.

Thanks everyone!

Post the pictures, people here are always helpful with pre-grades. Keep in mind it is tough to tell from scans.

Welcome........post away.......even put a link to your cards in your signature ( to edit press profile)

As far as grading 66-69 cards, you really need to get PSA 8s to make it worthwhile. ( perhaps PSA 7 for HOFers)

I'd grade the two 1968 Ryan rookies (get the gum/wax off that first one before you send it in) and the two 1966 Mantles. Thats all.

    Welcome!

    Nice Cards!

Too bad about all the dinged corners. Do you have 2 Ryan rookies?

  • Yea, two. Had three but traded the third for the Schmidt 18 or so years ago. Mike was my favorite player growing up (me growing up not him).

Great cards. I never before noticed Bob Gibson flying the bird in the '67 pitching leaders card.
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.
