sp holoview question

i had a 95sp holoview marino (psa 9). the card looked flawless so i resubmitted trying for a 10....came back a 5. ouch!!!!
i cracked it out to look for creases and found none. however, when turning the card i notice some kind of smear or something in the holoview area. i'm assuming this is the reason for the 5.
have any of you ever seen this type of defect on holoview type cardstock? i'm thinking it had something to do with the penny saver or card saver used to send to psa.

i can make a fingerprint and wipe it off. it's almost like soap drying on a car windshield or dew on the windshield but it does not wipe off. maybe it was there when it graded a 9 and no one noticed (incl myself) until i resubmitted and it came back a 5. however, this is noticeable enough that i would not have resubmitted it so that's why i'm thinking it may be something related to the card saver or penny sleeve.
i'll post a scan later if i can get the holoview to appear right. this may be better for a camera shot rather than a scan if i can get the right angle.
Thanks,
