considering offers on 24k 14 gram alaskan gold nugget fitted w/ loop hanging on 14k 22 gram yellow gold 3mm solid rope chain.value on this is over $600. wifes recent surgery is making things a little tight. 7 year ebay seller w/ over 1200 positive feedbacks...never a negative. If you have Photoshop, open the picture then click on File/SaveForWeb on the menu.
I usually save at 300 dpi. It's good enough if you got a good enough close up of the coin.
Save the picture. It usually comes up about half the size of the original file.

OR

Get an account on Photobucket, or, if you have some free space with your ISP, upload
the pictures to there and then 'point' to that location.

After you've uploaded the file to the location, go there using your browser. When you
are looking at the picture, copy the URL that's currently in the navigation field from the
top of your browser window using CTRL-C. Now, go back to the CU site, open the
message where you want to place the picture. Click on the 4th icon from the left
(looks like a framed picture) When the dialog box opens, place the icon there and
press CTRL-V to paste the URL into the field. Click the OK button and then a second
dialog box will appear and you will be prompted for some text about the picture.
Enter some text that refers to the photo and click the OK button.

Test that the picture can be viewed using the Preview button.

It is common etiquette to warn for large pictures in the thread title.
If you are using dial-up, this can take quite a while and users may not want to
tie up their PCs for that length of time...

thanks for your help...was able to use microsoft office to resize the pics. not quite the same way, but hey...it works. been working main frame IBM's for over 20 years but it's a totally different animal.
