1971 Topps Football - what will these grade?

    Very nice looking cards. Lanier seems a little O/C top to bottom.

    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    Unfortunately, I think they are trimmed. I bought at a show a few months back. When I got them home I looked closer. I am not an expert on trimming but the Greene definitely looks trimmed along the top edge. The Lanier is questionable but I think the bottom may be trimmed. I thought about submitting the Lanier but truly believe it will be "evidence of trimming".

    Both cards are nice. In fact, I have compared them with other cards and there does not appear to be a discrepancy in size...does anyone want to buy these for an ungraded set? Please make offer is so..I will be extremely reasonable.

    This was my lesson learned.
