1933 Ruth #181 Question

Hello Everyone,

It's been awhile since I've been on the boards. I've been away as I've been going to school full time, and paying all those bills, and didn't want to get the card buying bug while I couldn't afford them. Anyways, enough about me, sorry!

What do you all think of this card?

To me it appears as though the card is double printed. Look at the top of the card where the green meets with the white boarder.

Any and all advice on purchasing a sweet card like this one would greatly be appreciated, please help!

Jeff

Seems a little pricey at 25% over the SMR, but I only collect ungraded back to 1952 so I may be way off in looking at the SMR on this card.

I think one of the printing plates was not perfectly in sych. So the yellow plate is just a hair higher on the card.
  • not bad in terms of a BIN, about $200 over the average of the past 11 sales. Last two sales were 1774 and 2346. seems like a decent 4 to me.
