I am selling for $99 on EBay 2007 WASHINGTON First 1st DAY COIN COVERS P21
IMHO, PCGS has made a big mistake in not offering an equivalent product. These NGC GW FDCC slabs look and feel better than I expected!
It's hard to just own a sealed Cover so I thought of combining BOTH.
First Day Cover #1 is sealed in a US Mint White Cardboard Mailer Envelope, with a Pull Tab, like a FedEx Envelope (see photos). This First Day Cover White Cardboard Mailer Envelope holds one of the 2-Coin FD Cover and provides a secured, sealed means to protect each of the (2) Coins. Problem is that unless you OPEN the envelope, you never will see the coins. An open envelope deflates value.
First Day Cover #2 is also sealed, but it is encapsulated and has BOTH coins Graded MS65 by Numismatic Guaranty Coporation (NGC). This encapsulated Cover also reveals a 39 cent US Postage Stamp actually officially canceled by US Post Office on February 15, 2007, in Mount Vernon, VA, the day the GW $1 was released to the Public.
