Anyone ever take place in an E-bay live auction ??

I saw an item I wanted in an E-bay live auction I have never participated in one before. Is there anything I need to know before I read all the legal stuff and sign up ??

    Same thing happened to me the other day. Almost placed a snipe but after reading their terms, you had to pre-register and get popped with a 17% buyer's premium.
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
