Trying the angled glass approach on a few extremely lustrous pieces; my normal shooting method just accentuated any and all marks and nicks... made the coins hideous. I'm still not fully pleased with this method, but I'm out of ideas. The Mexican piece is fully PL.








This one actually has full mirrors; very prooflike. This had been submitted to PCGS as a proof.

Yep, very crusty look to that one. That, combined with the mirrors, gives it an almost eerie effect...

Nice coins, CP. I haven't tried the angled glass method yet, but looks like it can bring-out the luster.

I remember you mentioned that you wanted toned Canadian dollars from the 70's - PM me with your address and I'll have one out to you. I found a '72 Voyager sitting around you can have.
