Suspended eBay Account . . . What Do I Do?

I have over 99% feedback. 1200+ transactions. I get this today:

Selling Activity Restricted
Access to your eBay account has been restricted for violations of eBay’s Seller Non-Performance policy.

Our top priority is to ensure that eBay remains a safe and reputable place to buy and sell. At this stage, we cannot permit you to continue to sell with this account due to the nature of this policy violation and the number of issues you have outstanding with your buyers.

For the next 14 days you will be able to continue to bid and buy but you will not be able to list any new items with this account. Once 14 days have passed your selling privileges will be reinstated automatically.

If you require assistance with this matter, please contact Customer Support.

Here’s some steps you can take now:

· View emails sent from eBay in My Messages

· See all open disputes in the Dispute Console

· Learn more about the Item Not Received or Significantly Not as Described Process

· Learn more about Mutual Feedback Withdrawal

Did you confirm that this is in your Ebay messages and not a phishing e-mail?
  • Sounds legit to me. Most scam e-mails will have a link and tell you to log into your account. That really sucks man. I would contact customer support like they say, by phone of course, and see what it's all about.

ebay i.d. clydecoolidge - Lots of vintage stars and HOFers, raw, condition fully disclosed.
  • Have you tried to list anything?

Have you had any NSS complaints?

Was there an alert in Ebay or something in your Messages on Ebay?

Sounds like a phishing email to me.

Seems like a lot of this stuff going on. I had to change my Paypal account about a month or so ago, stated someone was trying to access my account. So I did make changes, now I get another one this week saying same thing. They used my full name in this e-mail which I thought was a sign that it is legit, but I sent it to Paypal to see if it is real or fake. I still can use my account though, just paid for a card today.
  • Go to the dispute console in the menu and check your emails for sellers complaining about not receiving items. If there aren't any open disputes, then it may be a scam and I'd forward this email to Ebay to determine if it's legit.

Agree with the other posters....do this.

    Go to www.ebay.com

Click on My eBay and log in if you aren't already.

Go to My Messages and there should be messages marked as Alert! right on top.

If there is no message saying that your account is suspended then the email you received is bogus.
