to submit or not to submit? thoughts on set

I am working on the 2006 black refractor heritage football set and have about 30 of the cards at the moment. The cards are factory #'d out of 52 and thought this might be a nice set to complete graded.

Is it foolish to get a modern set like this that is undervalued slabbed?

I have no knowledge of any other set builders and thought it might be cool to at least have a #1 set of something.

What are your thougths since the set is not difficult to get in high grade(centering is only issue).

Is it a good idea for an investment down the road??

I still need 80 of the cards to complete it but thought if it were a good idea I could go ahead and start submitting PSA 9 and 10 candidates
** Working on the following sets-2013 Spectra Football Hall of Fame 50th Anniversary Autograph set, 2015 Spectra Football Illustrious Legends Autograph set, 2014-15 Hall of Fame Heroes autograph set. **

The way I see it , if you can do it now . . . do it now .
No need to have those cards sitting around de-grading as they're moved around from time to time . . . J/M/H/O

Normally I would say it's not worth the money because grading won't enhance the value, but since it's only 110 cards, why the hell not. An extra $550 (wait for a $5 special) seems like a drop in the bucket for a hi-grade low numbered set. Plus, if it becomes one of those sought after parallel sets (1996 mirror gold, etc...) then you could actually have something great. However, I wouldn't be too crazy about getting PSA 10's as modern grading is pretty arbitrary when you're talking about the difference between 9's and 10's.
