damn, i got the OPC Fever....

I got jealous of all these OPC rips... sadly I dont have any to busy open, but i DID have a 1985 OPC set sitting in storage for the last 15 years.... I cant say that ive looked at it till today. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I got this in a trade for about $20 worth of cards way back when...

here are some scans of the better cut, better centered cards... just killing time on a day off from work today.

You scanned a card of Jeff Kunkel.

    Heh.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Looks like a pretty decent OPC set by their standards.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
  • I got it. I had a Sega Genesis.

  • I too have kind of became curious about the possibility of ripping some OPC's recently, but I have one big question...

How does PSA treat those jagged edges that are so common in OPC's? I don't see that exact issue addressed in their grading standards, but I can't assume it would be ignored, right? What would be the top grade you could get for say a 55/45, 4 sharp corners, but with 1 semi-jagged edge?

You could get a 10 on the card you described. There are many 10s with rough edges. PSA doesn't usually knock it down since it was part of their printing process.
