Does anyone know how many countries have proof sets in 1973?

I've already bought a few, and I know there is no real "world proof set" reference, but I was wondering if anyone had an idea how many countries actually issued proof sets in 1973?

Check out Krause. Their info should be quite accurate on this.
My estimate includes specimen sets and the like.
I don't know of any other way to compile a list aside from hopping from country to country in the Krause catalog, checking the last pages of each country's listing to see the proof sets.
I faced a similar dilemma in trying to compile a list of all the British Empire coins minted in 1901. First I had to figure out which colonies were part of the empire in that year, and then I had to hunt individually in each country's section to see whether they struck coins in 1901.
You'll just have to go through the book, as far as I know, if you want a truly complete list.
Izzat your birthyear, by any chance? Ladymarcovan is a '73 model. She ain't got any interest in proof sets from her birthyear, though.
<< <i>Are you talking about going through the book? I made it halfway through last night, having to look at the year, to see if they had a proof listed for 73. >>
I may have the wrong world coins book, as mine doesn't have proof sets.
