Our team is so good we have unemployed people turning down multi-million dollar job offers.

Ummmmm, yeah guys, it's the manager's fault we've been an embarrassment over the last 10 years. Our front office is so bad, Norv Turner would turn down a job offer.

I feel ya Lee, trust me I feel ya.....They are a joke and unfortunately they are the team I grew up loving....I guess that is the reason I haven't been to Camden Yards in 2 years when I used to go to give or take 25+ games a year. Sell the team Angelos, he is such a putz and he has ruined the "Oriole Way".....Now I am just ranting.......Hopefully, McPhail can have the freedom to do SOMETHING!!!! Sorry guys for the rant.

The crazy thing is that there are two guys who are qualified for the job, are absolute heroes in Baltimore, and would kill for the job, but they refuse to consider them- Eddie Murray and Rick Dempsey. Dempsey had good success as a minor league manager, and Murray has been one of the more popular bench coaches wherever he's been. Even if they suck as managers (which all evidence points to the fact that they won't), at the very least it would get the fans to go to the games for a while. I mean, what the hell?

i think you should throw your hat in the mix lee.

eddie murray should be a no-brainer, or at least i'd think?

perhaps jim palmer and his (supposed) steroid-juiced buddy brady anderson should get in the mix?
