I can somewhat understand a silly price for the Donruss due to the black borders. But 87 Topps?

If I didn't truly believe that 4 out of 5 BGS 10 Pristine cards were trimmed, maybe I'd care. But knowing what I know, and seeing how many of these end up in 10 holders by virtue of multiple half-grade bumps, is just lame. I have zero respect for BGS now. Maybe I should go get a laser trimmer and a box of 87 D and 87 Topps and make a few bucks too.

Care to elaborate on this method and how BGS is being mislead? I am not questioning you knowing this I just want to know what is going on.

Not so much BGS being mislead as BGS being apathetic to the cause. Why BGS 10's still command the premium they do, is beyond me.

BBCM has become a tool of propaganda.

I agree that BGS cards, especially vintage graded cards were a joke. They started multiple levels of grading styles which to me killed all their momentum. I don't understand why people still want modern cards in their holders? Having a magazine that prices cards based on what grading service is used to me is a conflict of interest that is amusing. At least PSA puts out pricing only on THEIR cards not someone elses graded cards.
