Would you buy from someone like this??

Not sports related, but this guy(s) has over 94K+ feedback, but still a rating of 96.3%. At what point does a seller say, I need to improve my service and get less negs?? I can see a high volume dealer being at say 98% or so, you can not satisfy everyone, but this is getting to the point where it seems like it would start hurting his sales??

And with all those negatives the guy has averaged a solid 3000 feedbacks per month for a year. His bad feedback rating obviously isn't scaring anyone away. Also, that only shows those that have left feedback, he maybe be doing closer to 3500 sales per month on average.

It's the ongoing challenege, right? The person sells DVDs -- many of which you can't find at your local Blockbuster or bookstore. So you almost have to buy some of the esoteric/kid's stuff online. And you can either go Amazon or elsewhere and pay full price, or take a gamble with someone like this, where you'll probably get it net net cheaper, but with a 2% risk of the order being totally f*'ed up
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

  • I don't know, 30 items sold per day times 30 days = 900 sales/month. Looks like he gets around 40 negs per month. With that amount of sales, that's not really that bad if you consider some of the negs are going to be "took too long to ship" or other gripes that are probably from picky buyers. If there's a couple of pages before I see a negative I usually feel o.k. about it. Unless of course the negs are something really bad like "never received."

  • Geico advertised for several years that their customer satisfaction rating was 97% (like that was supposed to be good)

As a rule sellers who sell video games and DVD's are dealing with a much younger and more trigger happy customer base and lower percentages are understandable -- it also looks like they might do some drop shipping with the slow delivery times

I also see some salvage guys who have fb between 90-95% and they get bad feedback from people who buy laptops with broken screens for 15.00 and then get irritated when the mother board doesn't meet their criteria

His shipping time Star is 3.9, that is the lowest that I have seen so far.

  • I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him. I bet if you had a feedback rating system for your local Blockbuster it would average in the 90% range or less.

I think I may have bought from this seller before. Don't recall if it was positive or negative. I don't think this is one guy. It's probably large operation with several people working behind it.
