Those are a couple of my favorites as well. I would imagine they cost much more than anything in my collection.

    Those are counterfeit image
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

  • I don't really have "favorites" except for my Grove, below (hence why it's my avatar).

Still looking for Grove in PSA 5 for my set. It's my most valuable card I own. It's also nice that he's in a Red Sox uniform.

Here's one I selected at random. I like the Bednarik because it always reminds me of the shot of him destroying Frank Gifford (seen below)

Well... he'll NEVER make the HOF, but if I could post a couple of my favorite possessions, it'd have to be these two:

I know they're both BGS, but a much MUCH larger majority of my Sabo stuff is PSA. btw, it was tuff to decide which two to post!

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

    Two childhood favs.

  • Definitely not valuable but my favorite. My very first two football cards which my great grandmother gave to me when I was 9 years old. I still remember her taking them off of the top of her fridge. Boy, what a monser she helped create. A couple of yrs ago I bought some better copies and put all four of them in a double screwdown. My grandson just turned 9 and I'm planning on giving the two newer ones to him.

These would be the two most valuable ones I own. I know they're minor leaguers compared to stuff some of you have.

I'd say anywhere from 1,100.00 to 1,300.00 depending on what day of the week it is.

Got that from Shane and got it graded by GAI.
  • '57 Topps Yogi Berra #2. First vintage card I bought at a card show for $4. Dead centered, nice corners, with a light crease down the front of it. The other would have to be the mid 60's gold foil embossed set which I got as an Easter present.

At one time the most valuable card in my collection was an 84 Topps Mattingly. That was back in 1987.
