I may be wrong but I think $2000 is a bit optomistic. I wish you the best but want to avoid disappointment. It is a 65 and is POP 1 for a relatively obscure error with a notable error. Take the price of a 65 smoothie and add 50% is my prediction. I do hope you do better than that and I don't want to rain on your parade...have I waffled enough to make it clear I'm not bashing here? Best of luck, Jerry

Edit: I thought from your photo only a portion of the clad layer was missing. Now I think I understand it is all missing. I say my guess above is now low but $2k may be high. No big deal if you're planning to keep it.

thats a nice coin also, is it also missing the edge lettering like mine,
and i realize it's not on the pop, but it is what it is #1

No, hence the mint mark on the holder. A girl that found the first one, a MS64 D mint sold it here for $718.

if you decide to sell it, try to get it in a new holder which mentuions the strike through

i think that it's comparing apples to oranges, i believe there are at least a few gw missing clad coins, and only one of these, thats the only point i'm trying to make,i have no clue what it will bring some day, but as someone stated 'ms65 smoothie add 50% " thats ridiculous and uninformed in my opinion !
