a Somewhat disturbing response to question "Is it possible this could be trimmed"

I did not notice an obvious trim but it seems most of those had some kind of trimming, corners cut off, and/or holes punched in them. I want you to be satisfied with the transaction/card so I will be happy to refund your money for that card in full if you wish to return the card. I am sure I can sell it for what you paid me if I do relist it, not many come up for sale.

I am not quite sure what to make of this response? Should I be worried??

Let me see take a stab at this

"I know it's trimmed, but I do not want to fully out myself as selling trimmed goods. I had to doctor the scan a bit to hide the fact that the card has holes and corners missing. However, I will be glad to give you a refund, as I feel that I can find someone else less knowledgeable who will pay the same you did and not know what I just did to them. Now please, stop bothering me, I have packs to reseal and cards to color"

I bet we are talking about tobacco cards. In that case the seller is just being honest, he did not feel it was trimmed but many are. I see no problem here. In hand is the card trimmed?

I love the comeback line... "I am sure I can sell it for what you paid me if I do relist it."

Would it have been better if he lied and said no?
