MUST READ: ebay just cancelled 2 of my auctions for not being authentic autos....

what a joke ebay has become. they cancelled 2 david wright auctions. both auctions were for signed mlb's.

i get a email today saying they cancelled them because the autos look suspicious. that a 3rd party authenticator said they were no good. lolololol

1 ball was gai certified & one was uncertified.

1st off gai is one of there 3rd party authenticators (???????) & the ball was authenticated back in 2004.

2nd off all these items were from a private signing we had with david back in 2003.

3rd off i used jsa, psa & gai to authenticate most of the items form the signing.

ebay is a disaster!

its funny how i have other items up in my ebay store from the same signing authenticated from psa & jsa & there still up.

    I would be on the phone to Trust&Safety.

    GAI is well accepted; both on and off EBAY.
    EBAY even lists GAI as acceptable.

    I personally might not buy a GAI product,
    but only because I prefer and have more
    confidence in PSA/DNA.

    EBAY is definitely out of control. MANY young
    folks - who have NO IDEA what they are doing -
    have been hired to help police the place.

    Perhaps the seller discussed in THIS thread alerted eBay to your "fake".

    I had forgotten about that other thread, and the LR
    controversy.

    EBAY is probably being pressed by LR to "take action,"
    whether warranted or not.

    And they were reacting to a recent story about fake Wright autos?!?!? When will the madness end????

    They will pull 2 autograph auctions out of 100,000 because they claim a 3rd party looked at them, yet when over 100 people notify them that a seller is using stolen scans from 707 they do nothing.

    What a joke....

    Or if you let them know a seller has 285 items listed where cash is mentioned as a payment type they also do nothing.
