Do the world a favor and if you are so inclined, describe you cards honestly . The fecal matter that I have bought from there was all grossly overgraded . Mint cards had creases or very off-centered. I tried quite a few sellers to see if there were any honest dealers. Basicly manure spedders by trade. As I have stated before, the cards I bought could've never been sold at a flea market , much less a card show. A great place to dump garbage.
I'm sure there are some moral or honest sellers there. I just never met them . GOOD LUCK - Sonny (Calaban 7)

I've sold in a handful of their auctions with about 50% sell through. Have not tried their "stores".
As a buyer, I've found good sellers if you're looking at vintage EX to EXMT items. I've received garbage described as NM from others.
Expanding the originator of this post's question, I'd be curious to know the pros/cons of selling singles via Sportlots versus Naxcom or an Ebay store.
Never sold there but I've bought probably $400 worth of singles from there. From a buyers perspective, describe the cards accurately. That being said, my expectations for the site were pretty low and they've met my expectations on many occassions. However, I've gotten several PSA 10's from there. Yes, you read that right. I actually had cards from there graded and got PSA 10's. In fact, a couple of very low pop 10's that could net me very big profits. I went in with the expectation that 7/10 cards would not fit my needs. That has about held true, however, I've found a couple of sellers that I really like that have sent me MINT or better cards and they charge the same as everyone else. There are a few guys that charge a bit higher for the same card and I've found, in most cases, their stuff was actually lower quality than the lower priced competitors. In vintage (which I'll quantify as anything pre 1981 on that site, the stuff has been hit or miss. usually stuff described as NM is WAY overpriced. The stuff that wasn't, I purchased and was generally disappointed. However, truth be told, I expected Ex-ExMt and that's usualy what I got. The stuff described as Ex is pretty much Ex in my experience.
I know as a seller you get paid once / month. You get emails with a list of cards you're supposed to pull and an address to mail them too. Keep in mind, most guys mail in plain white envelopes with the cards in a single card saver II. Here is my advice on that. Don't put more than 2 cards in one of those toploaders, it doesn't keep them in there tighter, it actually forces them out the top. I've received many cards that were half out of the toploaders and in almost every case, the only time it happened was when they put 4, 5 6 cards in there. Also, tape the top loader to the shipping label you print off. That way if the envelope tears open (happened to me on several occassions) the cards or toploader don't fall out and leave the buyer with a packing slip and nothing else. Also, tape the top of the toploader closed but make sure the cards aren't going to end up between the tape and toploader. I've had a couple that the tape took the surface of the card off because it got stuck on it. Easy fix, put the cards in a penny sleeve upside down. I don't like their envelope technique, but in 90%+ of the cases I've received them, they've actually been fine. I've gotten some doozies though. THe post office really isn't all that careful.
