KING KELLOGG bids a fond farewell......(for now)...

Hello PSA Registry guru's...l...

Over the past 6 years, I've traded and met some of the greatest collectors EVER!! With the help of a 'bizzilion guys, my sets (and fun) just kept growing and growing..

Now comes the hard part... With all the other collections currently pending, and retirement looming..I've decided to sell my stuff...

My Registry sets (and the rest of the collection..) have been sold to a current CU collector and friend. I'll let him tell 'ya all about it.

The true enjoyment of traveling coast to coast was to meet, face to face, the best minds in the hobby. Lots of cities...lots of new friends... I won't even try to list all the collectors that helped me along, 'cause I know I'll miss someone...LOL...

Rumors that have already started...I'll set straight..

No...I'm not suffering from any rare medical problem....
No...I'm not currently signed up to go in the military.....(too old ...LOL...)
No...I'm not doing it because I need the money...
No...I did not sell out to MOSH...
No...
No...
No... (fill in the blanks..)

The collection is now moved into capable hands to preserve the integrity of the collection. Sure..cards will be changed, and cards will be sold..It's up to the new owner to do whatever he wants.

A farewell (for now...)to all my friends. Many MANY THANKS!!! for all the help

Best

Larry Emard

    Long live the King!

In all seriousness Larry, I recall meeting with you several times at one of the Nationals and you really know how to make the collecting fun.

I wish you well and even if you have no cards, that doesn't restrict you from posting on the board.

    Best regards,

    Dan

Yes, yes...the A.C. dinner was a true joy...only rivaled by the King's straighfaced question to Joe at the PSA luncheon.

Not word for word, but I recall it to have gone something like this, with all the seriousness of a U.N. mission:

Can we get beer for our free submissions or memebership fee?

    Here's to you KING!image

Man it took a KING KELLOGG retirement thread to draw Gemmint out into the open. What can I say? I'm sad that the King is leaving the game, but I thank him for all of the great memories. It truly was a blast, and Larry made the collecting experience all the more fun. Perhaps a parting song and dance is the only fitting good bye...

Best of luck Larry. It's sad to see you go but we all move on to new ventures at some point. I enjoyed meeting you at the nationals and you always breathed life into the parties. Happy retirement and good luck with your new collecting ventures.

    Larry-

Good luck - you will be missed. The National get togethers won't be the same without you. Thank you for all the memories and for organizing all of the ballgame outings.

    Take care buddy!
